While yall are out there getting ready for your 2008 Frio River vacation, we're busy here in Concan getting ready for you! That's the truth, and the only excuse I have for not posting in so long. I took these last Thursday, near and on Bunk Falls, and the tubers at the 2nd crossing.
These guys are right next to Concan Pies, waiting for them to open May 24 & 25, then reopening May 31 for the summer. Talk about early birds..........

We got about 2" of rain early this morn, and it was rockin & rollin with lightning, thunder, and wind. I'll be back soon with more pics....Promise!

A few of my friends and I are coming down next week, and camping at Neals. Is there any way you can take a pic of Neals swimming hole so that we can see how deep the water is this year? We are so excited, and by looking at the rain fall this month we are scared that we are going to have to walk most of the river trip. This is our "five year anniversary" trip, and we are going to be camping for 6 days! We went to the Frio in 2003for our first time and did not have a clue what it was going to be like, now it is my favorite place in the world! I LOVE THE FRIO RIVER!!!!

We are camping at Garner next weekend and was wondering where would be a good place to park and get in the Frio for a 5-6 hr float (given the current conditions) and ending back up at Garner? Thanks for your help!!!
