65,000 gallons of water per day
• This equates to 90 gallons per minute (even in drought)
• This water will be leaving the watershed of the Frio for
commercial interests elsewhere
• We must act! There is more at stake than 1 well. It is
the precedent that will be set for years to come

I sent e-mails and left messages today every where I possibly could to protest the pumping. Don't know if it helps but is sure is worth a try! Please let us know how the meeting went today.
This permit application is not going to be approved right away, and hopefully, is going to be a long, drawn out affair...with the applicant, Leo Pavlas, the loser.
Otherwise, if approved, this will open the door for other commercial endeavors that could be detrimental to the future of our beautiful Frio River. I'll be posting more information as I get it. Tell EVERYBODY!!
